A couple of days ago, I received an email from May Williamson, an illustrator and artist with an extraordinary talent. With an Advanced Diploma in Fashion and Textile, she currently works as a fashion designer’s assistant where beautiful bridal gowns are created. Besides the gift of creating beautiful pieces in white and ivory, she has a hidden talent that explodes with vibrant colours. Through her brushes and pencils, she creates gorgeous artworks that speak of beauty and hope.
I absolutely love the burst of colours in her artworks. So when I was contacted to do a feature of one of her artworks, I was overjoyed. Talents like these needs to be discovered and made known. And this is why I love what I do, featuring creative talents flatlay style.
My favourite piece is the One Way Street featured in the photos below.
Her artworks are available for sale via her website. There are also some framed prints available at Davies Ground, 62 Davies Rd, Claremont, WA.
